Cabenuva (cabotegravir/rilpivirine) will be the first MONTHLY injectable treatment for adults living with HIV.

Cabenuva comes in a kit containing one vial of cabotegravir and one vial of rilpivirine. Each med is injected separately into the buttock (gluteal) muscle at the same visit.

Expect Cabenuva to be an option for patients with stable HIV who've been on a daily oral HIV regimen (Biktarvy, Triumeq, etc) and prefer less frequent dosing.
