A rash of short-dated product shipments to pharmacies is bringing up questions about drug expiration and "beyond-use" dating.
The most recent culprits include shipments of Kytril 1 mg tabs and albuterol HFA inhalers...with exp dates of just months. This is much less than the usual 2- to 3-year shelf life for most drugs.
